Tantric Symbolism !

The Vedic temple allegorically represents the triune bodies of man. The outer wall of the temple correpsonds to the gross physical body, the inner wall, the subtle physical body and the inmost wall, the causal body.

This is Tantric Symbolism !

Similarly the Light represented by the Lamp, denotes the Inner Light, the Absolute Self. A poetic verse states that the inner Light and the outer Light should be integrated ( Jnanagnim Bahyavahmin cha Ekeekritya Prapoojayeth ). Jnanagni refes to the Fire of Wisdom; Bahyavagni is the Light of the Lamp. Such an integrated Worship will definitely lead to Self Actualisation

An excellent Tantric Treatise - The Soundarya Lahari

Soundarya Lahari, composed by Sankara, is a fine treatise on Tantra.

The Chakras are described in a beautiful sloka

Mahim Mooladhare Kamapi Manipoore Huthavaham
Sthitham Swadhishtane Hridi Maruthamakashamupari
Manopir Bhroomadhya Sakalamapi hitwa Kulapadam
Sahasrare Chakre saha rahasi patya viharase !

Maheem Mooladhare - She, the Kundalini is coiled in the Muladhara, in the Manipura, Swadhishtana , in the Anahata, in the Vishuddhi, in the Ajna and ultimately She sports with her Husband, the Absolute Self, in the Sahasrara !

This is a sloka worth byhearting !
